Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2017 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

Turnover derives from the principal activity of the Company and is represented by invoiced salesexcluding Value Added Tax.

Tangible fixed assets and depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost.DepreciationDepreciation is calculated so as to write off the cost or valuation of an asset, less its residual value,over the useful economic life of that asset as follows:Plant and machinery - 10% straight lineComputer equipment - 33% straight lineIf there is an indication that there has been a significant change in depreciation rate, useful life orresidual value of tangible assets, the depreciation is revised prospectively to reflect the new estimates.

Other accounting policies

Foreign currenciesMonetary assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the ratesof exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at therate ruling at the date of the transaction. All differences are taken to the profit and loss account.Fixed asset investmentsFixed asset investments are stated at cost less provision for diminution in value.
