| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
| Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the |
| balance sheet date. |
| Fixed assets investments |
| Investments are stated at cost less impairment losses. Where an indication of impairment exists, the |
| carrying amount of the investment is assessed and written down immediately to its recoverable |
| amount. |
