The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

1	Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Fixed asset investments

Where the company has an on-going intention to hold an investment for the medium to long term, it is classified as a fixed asset investment. All fixed asset investments are initially held at cost. The carrying value is reviewed and adjusted to market value at the balance sheet date, the increase or decrease being transferred to the revaluation reserve. Where the value of any such investments falls below original cost, the decrease, and any subsequent increase back up to original cost, is recognised in the profit and loss account. The fixed asset investment reflects the company's share of net assets of the Partnership at the year end.
