| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
| with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |
| Milk quota |
| The milk quota acquired from the partnership A A & B W Slack has now been amortised fully. The |
| residue of the milk quota has been written off fully as the quota has now been abolished. |
