Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'. This is the first year in which the financial statements have been applied under FRS 105.

These financial statements are presented in Sterling (£).

Staff numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company (including the director) during the year, was 1 (2016 - 1).

Financial commitments, guarantees and contingencies

Amounts not provided for in the balance sheet

The total amount of financial commitments not included in the balance sheet is £4,979 (2016 - £8,124). The company currently holds an operating lease for a motor vehicle that is used by the director of the company. At the balance sheet date, the amount due within one year is £3,145 (2016 - £3,145), the amount due between 1 and 2 years was £1,834 (2016 - £3,145) and the amount due between 2 and 5 years was £nil (2016 - £1,834).

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

For the financial year ending 31 August 2017 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Director's responsibilities:

•	The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476; and
•	The director acknowledges her responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
