1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Other accounting policies
The company has taken advantage of the exemption under FRS 8, as a wholly owned subsidiary of John Wiley & Sons Inc, not to disclose transactions with other members of the John Wiley & Sons Inc group.
